  • Crab like movement

  • Change in behaviour

  • Dislike certain areas of the body being touched

  • Lethargic

  • Sitting and lying to one side

  • Tripping

  • Uneven claw wear

  • Dragging feet/toes

  • Pacing

  • Unwilling to go for a walk

  • Knocking down poles in agility

  • Unable to stand square comfortably

The possible causes of back pain in dogs are:

  • Falls

  • Road traffic accident

  • Pulling on the lead/harness

  • Playing with other dogs

  • Playing with toys

  • Repetitive training

  • Fly ball

  • Agility

  • Heel work
